Conservative controlled Leicestershire County Council is planning to make cuts of up to £90m over the next four years. Most of this is due to reductions in government grant brought about by the budget deficit, but the County Council has considerable choice over how cuts are made and which services are affected. The severity of the cuts will also be affected by decisions on Council Tax.
The Liberal Democrat opposition group is undertaking this survey to find out what you think about particular services we believe are highly valued by local communities. We need you to tell us which of these services are most important to you and your family. We will use the information in our campaign against the cuts.
